Everyone can find something meaningful and beneficial in the sport of gymnastics, regardless of age, athletic ability, or the ambitiousness of their goals. Gymnastics can be enjoyed by all!

As children acquire the basics of recreational gymnastics, improvements may be seen in strength, balance, agility, flexibility and overall body awareness. Gymnasts learn to move safely, rotate safely, and jump and land safely. The development of these fundamental movements and sport skills is known as becoming physically literate. It is believed that the acquisition of physical literacy will benefit individuals for their entire lives.

Whether you are a beginner, or returning for the fun and fitness offered in our recreational gymnastics programs, Gymnastics Energy provides classes suitable for all ages and levels. Please see our current schedule for details and class times. We look forward to you having you join us.

  • Summer (July & August) – registration begins first week of June

Our Club

Every year, nearly a thousand children of all ages bounce, flip and swing with us. Our programs emphasize fun, fitness and the fundamentals of gymnastics. We tutor ages ranging from 18 months to adult and every skill level imaginable whether it is competitive, recreational or special needs.

Our Coaching Staff

All our coaches are certified through the National Coaching Certification Program and Gymnastics Ontario’s Risk Management Program. We strive to ensure that our coaches use appropriate teaching methods to develop your child’s athletic performance in gymnastics as well as their overall well-being. We welcome parent comments and suggestions.

Our Facility

Our club operates out of an 18,000 sq. foot facility that houses a large variety of specialized gymnastics equipment including in-ground trampolines, foam pits, vault, balance beams, uneven bars, several floor spaces, power tumbling strip, rings, parallel bars, high bars, pommel horse and a wide variety of accessory equipment to facilitate learning. We are grateful for the grants we have received from the Trillium Foundation, the City of St. Catharines, and the donations from our many community sponsors.
